Software: Perico for Mac OS X

I modified the original Perico package, that you can also compile and run it on a Macintosh OS X 10.3 system.

Because there are a lot of libraries not on the standard Mac, there is some preparation necessary. First of all you need the QT library . Compile and install it. The dynamic library must be also copied into the /usr/lib directory.

Next you need the packages for gif, jpeg, png tiff zlib and exif.

Compile all, and put the libraries into a lib directory and all include files into an include directory.

Then download the regular Perico package. Unpack it, and compile it.

Finaly it makes the Perico application.

If the program works on your machine, and you like it, send me a postcard for my postcard section.
